Lake Elsinore, CA – Two-Vehicle Collision on I-15 S Near Lake St

Lake Elsinore, CA (October 17, 2025) – On Wednesday, October 15, a two-vehicle collision occurred on the southbound lanes of Interstate 15 near Lake Street, prompting an emergency medical response, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) traffic incident log.

The crash was reported at approximately 2:10 a.m., involving a white SUV and an unidentified second vehicle. Initial reports indicated that one vehicle came to rest sideways in the slow lane, while the other was moved to the right-hand shoulder. Fire crews and medical personnel were dispatched to the scene, and CHP later confirmed that an ambulance had been requested for the injured parties.

Tow trucks from Steve’s Tow Riv were called to remove the disabled vehicles. The collision temporarily blocked the #3 lane, causing early morning traffic delays until the roadway was cleared.
