Victorville, CA – Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on I-15 NB Near Palmdale Rd Off-Ramp
Victorville, CA (October 18, 2025) – A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Thursday, October 16, on Interstate 15 northbound near the Palmdale Road off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The collision occurred around 10:19 p.m., involving a black Acura sedan that came to rest in the slow lane and another vehicle, reportedly a Honda Civic, which was later towed from the scene. Initial dispatch logs indicate that both parties involved were outside their vehicles when the crash occurred, and at least one individual was struck and injured.
Emergency responders arrived quickly, closing multiple lanes while providing aid to the injured pedestrian. The victim was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Centre with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver responsible for the hit-and-run fled the scene before officers arrived.
Towing crews from G & M Towing assisted in clearing the damaged vehicles, and traffic was fully reopened later that night. CHP officers continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash and are working to identify the hit-and-run suspect.
