San Diego, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on I-15 NB Near Rancho Mission Rd

San Diego, CA (October 18, 2025) – Emergency crews responded on Thursday, October 16, to a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 15 northbound near Rancho Mission Road and San Diego Mission Road.

According to emergency dispatch reports, the crash involved multiple vehicles and resulted in two people sustaining injuries. Responders requested advanced life support (ALS) medical assistance at the scene due to the nature of the reported injuries.

Firefighters and paramedics worked to stabilise the victims before transporting them to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not yet been disclosed. Law enforcement temporarily restricted traffic flow on I-15 northbound as crews cleared the roadway and investigated the circumstances leading up to the crash.

Authorities have not released additional details regarding the cause of the collision, but an investigation remains underway.
