San Diego, CA – Injury Crash on I-15 NB Near Miramar Rd

San Diego, CA (July 25, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 15 near Miramar Road sent one person to the hospital with injuries on Wednesday afternoon, July 23.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 3:03 p.m. on I-15 north just south of Miramar Road in the San Diego area. A white Honda Odyssey and a Dodge Ram were involved in the crash, which left both vehicles disabled in the center divider.

CHP units and emergency crews responded quickly. At least one person suffered minor injuries and was transported to Sharp Hospital for treatment. Fire crews temporarily blocked the #1 lane while clearing the scene and assisting the injured.

Tow trucks were called to remove the damaged vehicles. Officials reclassified the crash from an unknown injury incident to a confirmed minor injury crash.

Authorities are still investigating what caused the collision.
