Riverside, CA – Injury Collision on I-15 near Limonite Ave

Riverside, CA (July 26, 2025) — A significant collision on southbound I-15 near the Limonite Avenue off-ramp sent one person to the hospital on July 24 after a two-vehicle crash disrupted traffic in the area.

According to early reports, the accident occurred at approximately 12:32 p.m. and involved a blue sedan and a dark gray vehicle. One of the vehicles left the roadway and crashed into an embankment, while the blue sedan came to a stop, obstructing the off-ramp. A witness at the scene described the aftermath as intense, noting that one man was seen lying on the ground outside his vehicle following the impact.

Emergency crews from CAL FIRE and AMR arrived quickly to render aid. The injured individual was stabilized at the scene and later transported to Kaiser Permanente in Ontario for continued treatment. The crash required multiple tow trucks, and access to the off-ramp was briefly restricted while cleanup and investigation efforts were underway.

No additional injuries have been confirmed. The California Highway Patrol is actively investigating the incident, reviewing available evidence to determine whether speed, distracted driving, or other contributing factors were involved.
