San Diego, CA – Injury Crash on I-15 S Near Mira Mesa Blvd

San Diego, CA (September 3, 2025) – Emergency crews responded late Monday night, September 1, to a traffic collision with reported injuries on I-15 southbound near Mira Mesa Blvd.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 11 p.m. when a white SUV struck the right-side wall and came to rest across a lane of traffic. Another vehicle, possibly a Nissan Versa, was also involved. At least one person was injured in the collision, and paramedics were dispatched to the scene.

Authorities noted that the driver of one vehicle was believed to be under the influence and was detained. Multiple lanes were briefly blocked while crews assisted victims and cleared the roadway.
