Orem, UT – Six-Vehicle Pileup on I-15 S Leaves Woman Injured

Orem, UT (October 12, 2025) – A large multi-vehicle crash involving six to seven vehicles on Interstate 15 South in Orem on Saturday evening, October 12. According to Sgt. Andrew Battenfield, the collision forced multiple lane closures as emergency responders worked to manage the scene. The wreck occurred just before 9:00 p.m., with traffic flow resuming shortly after the vehicles were moved to the right shoulder.

Authorities reported that at least one woman was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Several other occupants were assessed at the scene for possible minor injuries. The vehicles sustained varying degrees of damage, including multiple SUVs and sedans with heavy front-end impacts. The Utah Highway Patrol is actively investigating what caused the chain-reaction collision.
