Oak Hills, CA – Several Injured in Accident on I-15 near Oakie Flat
Oak Hills, CA (August 10, 2025) – Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left multiple people injured late Saturday night, August 9, on northbound Interstate 15, just south of Oakie Flat in Oak Hills.
The incident was reported at approximately 11:16 p.m. and involved a black Kia Sportage, a white semi-truck, and a third, unidentified vehicle. According to officials, the driver of the unidentified vehicle fled the scene after the collision, leaving behind injured victims in need of medical care. Emergency responders treated those hurt at the scene and transported them to nearby medical facilities.
The crash forced a temporary closure of the right-hand shoulder as crews cleared debris and assisted those involved. Fortunately, no fatalities have been confirmed.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) continues to investigate, working to identify the hit-and-run driver and determine the events that led to the crash. Witnesses with information are urged to come forward.
