Jurupa Valley, CA – Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-15 Near Limonite Ave

Jurupa Valley, CA (September 1, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 near the Limonite Avenue exit left at least one person dead early Friday morning, August 29, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The accident occurred around 3:40 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-15, just north of Limonite Ave. CHP dispatch logs indicated that three to four vehicles were involved, including a black Jeep and a white Mercedes SUV. Several cars were blocking lanes following the collision.

Emergency crews responded quickly, and at least one person was pronounced deceased at the scene. Officials requested the coroner shortly after 3:55 a.m. Multiple tow trucks were also called to clear the damaged vehicles.

Authorities closed parts of I-15 in the area for several hours while investigators worked to document the scene and crews removed the wreckage.
