Fontana, CA – Fatal Motorcycle Crash on I-15 Near Sierra Ave

Fontana, CA (September 11, 2025) – A motorcyclist tragically lost their life in a crash on September 8, on the I-15 northbound lanes just south of Sierra Avenue. The accident occurred around 6:51 p.m.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the motorcyclist crashed in the number 1 lane and was pronounced dead at the scene. The rider’s identity has not yet been released.

It remains unclear if other vehicles were involved in the crash. Authorities temporarily closed all northbound lanes of the freeway, but they have since reopened.
